A forum for economic development trends and business support opportunities will be held in Rezekne
On May 20, this year, in Rezekne, the Ministry of Economics in cooperation with Latvia's investment and development agency and development finance institution Altum organizes Forum “#Support for employees — Pulse for new wave”. The aim of the Forum is to create a discussion on the planned support for entrepreneurship and competitiveness. The Forum in Rēzekne will be the first of a four-forum cycle that will also be held in other regions in the coming months – in June, a similar forum will be held in Kurzeme, August – Vidzeme, September – Zemgale.
Discussion will take place in the opening of the forum “Opportunities for change and development”, with the participation of Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Economics Raimonds Lapins, Head of ALTUM Reinis Berzins, Director of Latvian Investment and Development Agency Kaspars Rožkalns, President of Rēzekne District Council Aleksandrs Bartaševics and Head of SIA “Gravtex” Andris Philipenoks.

According to LUC's head, MR Kucins “support for the promotion of Latgale business needs to be available at all stages of the company's development”.
During the forum from the Ministry of Economics let us be informed about the major trends, opportunities and challenges of Latvia, which could be expected in the near future, as well as smart investments for increasing competitiveness and sustainable development. Further information on the 7-year financial planning and support period launched this year, which will make up EUR 1.6 billion OF investment in human resources development, innovation and export promotion.
Representatives of Latvian Investment and Development Agency talk to Latgale entrepreneurs about current support instruments for business development, including the programme “Promoting international competitiveness”, which serves as an expanded support for companies to rebuild the market and strengthen international competitiveness.
Also in the framework of the Forum ALTUM the current and forthcoming financial instruments for entrepreneurs, as well as the three-sea investment fund, which is a new opportunity for financing transport, energy and digitisation projects, will be discussed.
With his Latvian businessmen - SIA “DKRobotics” and SIA “MIDIS” will also be inspired by inspiration stories.who will share their experience and success in key business development, development, competitiveness and international exports. SIA “AMTx” the representative will discuss the positive impact of digitisation and innovation on resource management and strengthening productivity factors.
At the same time, during the forum, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to consult with experts from ALTUM, Latvian Investment and Development Agency, State Labour Inspectorate, State Revenue Service, Rural Support Service, State Agency for Employment, Environmental Protection and Regional Development and Latvian National Radio and Television Centre. Entrepreneurs will have a great chance to consult and learn more about available support programmes, e-signatures for entrepreneurs (including signing a contract with LVRTC on signature acquisition) and other issues of interest.
