Management of the Consultative Convention elected at the University of Rezekne

On 12 March, the Rēzekne High School (RA) held a meeting of the Consultative Convention. It elected the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Consultative Convention. For the next four years, the Convention will be chaired by the Chairman OF the Rēzekne District Council Monvīds Švarcs, while the work duties of the deputy are assigned TO RSEZ SIA “Verems” Chairman Janis Starim.

RA advisor Convents is a consultative body consisting of RA social partners in various fields of activity and sectors that have demonstrated public confidence with their expertise and achievements. THE RA Convention contains 14 representatives of different co-operation and partner institutions – local government leaders, entrepreneurs, leaders of associations, who provide advice on development strategies, study programmes and scientific research, support implementation of individual RA activities and programmes, co-operate with RA academic staff in addressing the economic, cultural, educational and scientific issues of the region, participate in the development and implementation of joint projects.

Representatives of the new RA advisors Convention discussed the role of higher education in the development of the region, expressed their willingness to intensify cooperation in the organisation of practices, the preparation of order studies, have made suggestions for the implementation of new study programmes, as well as for the implementation of joint projects.
