Rēzekne municipality, a child-youth sports school receives funding for the purchase of sports equipment

As a result of the start of the new school year, the Rēzekne municipality, a children-youth sports school, has expanded sports equipment for three professional orientations for sports education programmes – basketball, football and athletics. The inventory was purchased thanks to the funding of the Ministry of Education and Science and the co-financing of the municipality of Rezekne.

From the allocated funds, training barrier and trawls, cones, lectures, relay trees, rubber bullets, pilots Pussphera, training spears, weight bracelets, startup units, thus complementing the acquisition of the necessary inventory for training activities, which will contribute to the development and strengthening of the physical capacity of sports school students, the diverse learning-training process, improve the level of sporting achievements and promote success at regional and national level, were purchased.

Financing granted by the Ministry of eur 795.00 and a share of the municipal financing of eur 797.70.
