The Rēzekne municipality will participate collectively in the middle-class dancer festival in Jelgava
On June 7, in Yelgava, the eighth middle-generation dancer festival “God gave me a bread land” will be held at Zemgale Olympics. There will be approximately 6500 dancers from all Latvia, including four middle-generation dance collectors of Rezekne: “Cousuls” from Vērēmu parish (manager Vineta applolina), “Dancari” from Gaigalavas parish (lead Nathalie Sprukte), “Jumalo” from Dricānu parish (lead Silvija Bookta) and “Juris” from Sakstagala parish (lead Gunta Siderova).
At the time of the dance, it would be told, shown and danced, the path of the bread from the planet to the loaf of bread, from the life of life-creation to the pleasure of life, the apprenticeships and the tragedies. Festival is a step towards Latvia's centenary songs and dance festivals.
