In the municipality of Rezekne, the social workers were honoured
On 28 November, the social workers of the Rezekne municipality gathered in THE Bērzgales parish cultural house to celebrate their professional festivals – the day of social workers. The social workers who received recognition articles on honest and long-term work in their profession were honoured in the circle of colleagues, friends, relatives. The recognition article was received BY Čornajas parish social worker Inta Vegileum, Ilzeskalna parish social worker Nellija Pujate and local government social worker Anna Tarakanova, who have worked in social work for 20 years, only a slightly smaller period is Allai Dervinica from Vērēmu parish and Zitai Bautrei, the local government of the municipality of Rezekne in the work of the head of the social service of the municipality of Rezekne with children and families. The recognition article was also received BY Griškānu parish social worker Svetlana Sprukte and by the social service employee Sanita butteriņa, who had been nominated for the national competition “best social worker in Latvia”.
28 employees are employed in the municipal social service of Rezekne. These both physically and emotionally hard and responsible work have been undertaken by only two members of the strong sex – Andrejs Kasparans Lendžu parish and Ingus Trulis Mākoņkalna parish, the others are women – fragile and beautiful – even when they come to measure the snowy and muddy roads to their customers – the old and lonely people, the disadvantaged families, those who feel left and forget, see the harsh reality of life, which is lost in the day for many people. “You're a little handful, but you can bring the pain and difficulty of people to your shoulders,” – said Sylvia Strankale, head of the local government of the municipality of Rezekne. Rita Rita Žurzdina, Chairman of THE Permanent Committee on Social and Health Protection, was welcomed by Rita Rita Žurzdina, Chairman of the Permanent Committee on Social and Public Health.
The social workers' day in Rēzekne municipality was first marked two years ago, then social workers gathered at the centre of the development of watercourses “beacon”, while last year the celebration of festivals remained due to the tragedy of Zolitude.
