Residents of Rezekne municipality are invited to apply for free removal of electrical equipment

Latvian Green Point in cooperation with environmental management companies SIA “Eco Baltia Environment” and SIA “ALAAS””, as as well as “Maxima Latvia” in the “light sorting” campaign, “easy sorting” calls on the residents of Rezekne to submit to the residents of Rēzekne by 24 August the free removal of the end-of-life and no longer necessary electrical equipment from their households or businesses. By participating in the promotion, there is a chance to win a useful prize – the “Maxima” gift card of 30 euros.

The collection of electrical equipment from the registered addresses will take place between 1 and 3 September, from at 7.00, all day. For safety purposes, electronic collection takes place in a non-contact manner. All the machinery applied for must be placed on the day of export at the front door of the house or building and outside the enclosed area, in a freely accessible location to the waste management operator.

In the stock, the population can transfer both large household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, stoves, dishwasher, etc., as well as small techniques such as microwave ovens, blenders, electric weights, Phoenus, kitchenware and other devices, as well as additional storage of accumulated batteries and accumulators with electronics. In order to apply for export to the addressee, the minimum weight of the cases transferred shall be at least 50 kg.  

We are prompted to note that only end-of-life electrical goods, batteries and batteries can be transferred to the stock. Other types of waste, such as furniture, windows, doors, pots etc., will not be collected.

By participating in the “easy sorting” campaign, each participant will be able to qualify for pleasant and useful prizes. In each municipality, the “Maxima” gift card of 30 euros will be lowered between the participants, as well as a “Maxima” gift card will be allocated to the equivalent amount of the landlord who will have given the largest amount of electrical equipment.
