The Rēzekne District Cup in the hockey this year is an experience

The winter is not spoiled this year, so the Rēzekne District Cup in the hockey took place not on any of the hockey outdoors, but in Daugavpils ice hockey hall. In the tournament of 12 April, six best teams took part in the tournament. In an intense competition, with a score of 1: 2 (bullets), the final 1 st place was fought by the experienced “old buck” team, under the direction of Edgar Teivan. In the final, the vice_champion bucket had to receive a youth team from THE Gaigalavas parish “WS-TM”, Captain Artis Plush. In the small final, with three non-response gates, the 3 rd place was fought BY HK “Rezgola” team, Captain Maris Sinijs.

Thank you also for teams from Bērzgales, Ilzeskalna and Ozolaines parish Ritinu village, for intense competition in each game. The best tournament players were also honoured. Edgars Teiven (“old bucks”), Martin Vaichulis (HK “Rezgola”) became interested in these. The tournament's most valuable player title, with seven gates in four games, won Kalvis Dobkevics from the WS-TM team.
