Rēzekne District teams dominate the Rēzekne Cup in volleyball
On Sunday, December 4, Rēzekne Sports Administration and Rēzekne State Pole Gymnasia sports hall took place in the Rēzekne Open Cup in volleyball women. 4 teams were represented in the Rēzekne District.
In the cup, 10 teams, divided into 2 subgroups, each played each one on a circle system, the two most powerful teams from each sub-group were on semi-finals and finals, “Malta”, “Rezekne BJSS” from A group, “Rezekne municipality” and “Bērzgale” from group B.
“Malta”, playing “Rēzekne Municipality” (Seta ratio 2: 1), gave itself a fight for 1. -2., opposite “Bērzgale”, which won “Rezekne BJSS” (2: 0). The game for 1 st place between “Malta” and “Berzgali” was heavy and strained, with Seth results 21:18 and 21:19 Maltas. The fight for 3 rd place was equally unpredictable and equal, playing “Rēzekne District”, “Rezekne BJSS” managed to win a third place (Seta Fig. 2: 1).
The Rēzekne county teams won the following places - 1. v. “Malta” (Anita Gudrika), 2. v. “Bērzgale” (Santa Springs, Victoria Žukova, Anna Tripāne, Anelia Cvetkova, Amanda Lucianova, rasa Kapello), 4. v. “Rēzekne municipality” (Apeine, Sarmitte Brolisha, Ilona pier, Daira Michāne, Agita Stainberg, Inete Svilane), 5. v. “Rēzekne Municipality Sports School 2007” (March Paula Seyne, Maria Kozirkova, Zanda Kalvāne, Elizabeth Vorobjova, Diana Kozirkova, Elizabeth Brence, Egija Zelapitere, Linda Pitka).
