A street dance festival “Freestyle Spring 2015” will be held in Rezekne municipality.

At the end of the school year, on 30 May AT Maltas cn 14.00 “Freestyle Spring 2015” festival “Freestyle Spring 2015” will be held. Street dances combined with stage movement are an effective way of developing both physical skills and activism, which in turn contributes to the development of harmonious and creative personality. In the world, this dance is very popular and has gained widespread recognition in Latvia over recent years.
THE festival will be FREE of CHARGE popping and Jews dance masters, who will be guided by teachers from Riga and England. It is an opportunity for our Rēzekne to get children to learn the basic steps of street dances.
We call on children and young people to apply FOR FREE Graffiti masterclasses. Today, Graffiti refers to one of the street art genres that are technically executed by means of markers or paint aerosols in different styles.
The event will bring dancers from all Latvia! It will be possible to observe both the smallest and the professionals. Festival dancers will be evaluated by a competent jury.
Young people observe such events with great interest and add that street dance festivals are very rare in Latvia.
