In the municipality of Rezekne, a documentary film about Jānis Khalis will be shown

On Thursday, May 29, at 16.00 at the local hall of Rezekne, every lead is invited to watch the documentary film of the writer's centuries “Yukone Kevja Dabasu”. The film was directed by Voldemar Ivdris before the film is present.

The director of the film told him that he was trying to touch one of Jānis Khalifa's life segments – the native side and the people whose ways of life had been touched by the excellent writer. Film director Janis Streich, poet Anna Rancāne, J. Kco cousin Ernest Kapamer, literature scientist Ilona Salcevich and others. As the authors discovered, 97 people and two dogs were involved in the film.

The film is created with financial support from the National Cultural Capital Foundation Latgale programme and the municipality of Rezekne.
