The “smoke” project supported by the municipality of Rezekne comes to light

In analysing the data obtained in scientific research work “analysis of municipal waste stream in the city of Rezekne between 2007 and 2012”, it is revealed that the amount of waste is increasing with time, many illegal waste dumps occur. But each person has a natural talent and the ability to create unique, unique and unrepeatable things. There is no idea that the best and favorite gifts are hand-made. They can invest not only their own energy but also good thoughts and wishes. This is why the creative workshop “smoke” was also created with the support of the municipality, friends and relatives of the municipality of Rezekne. The purpose of the project was to show how interesting artistic works, gifts and simply beautiful decorations can be created from different things that are not used in the farm and spent in their time. Empty glass bottles can serve as a basis for a colourful vase, the old sound plates and small coloured yarns of yarn meet lovely candy dishes, the mailboxes often found in mailboxes and the old newspapers are a wonderful paper container that reminds a real porcelain. A bit of imagination and any empty canned cans can be expected to be transformed.

In order to introduce the work, the first exhibition will be seen in the Eastern Latvian creative service centre “Zeimuļs”. Each visitor will be able to look at the business and get ideas for his big works. The works at the end of the exhibition can also be obtained in their own ownership (on May 3). 11.00-19.00).

We are planning to develop and improve our project in the future so that we can be happy with new ideas. The “smoke” creative team lives – live green, think creative!
