In the municipality of Rezekne, 17,42 tonnes of glass are sorted in “glass parathlon”

The “Eco Baltia Environment” SIA “Eco Baltia Environment” was concluded in Rēzekne municipality in cooperation with the partners “glass parathlon” organised by the partners, during which the use of used and unneeded glass packaging was taken from the residents in their places of residence. In the municipality of Rezekne, 68 households have applied for “glass parathlon”, which have been sorted and processed by 17,42 tonnes of glass waste – different bottles and jars.
In each municipality, which participates in “glass parathlon”, the “top!” gift cards of 20 euros are drawn between the addresses applied for promotion. In turn, a gift card of 30 euros is received by a participant who has sorted and betrayed the most glass bottles and jars (kg) in the local government. At the time of export of the glass containers, all the registered addresses were automatically registered for participation in the lottery.
The largest quantity, namely approximately 547 kg of empty containers, was sorted and transferred to Yelena from Kaunatas parish, which will receive a “top!” gift card of 30 euros.
In contrast, the “top!” gift card of 20 euros will receive a Dzintra from Silmalas parish, Lidija from Griškānu parish and Vika from Stoļerovas parish. The gift card recipients will be contacted individually.
THE “Eco Baltia Environment” SIA “Latvian Green Point”, SIA “ALAAS” and the shops “top!” thank the local government and residents of Rezekne for their active participation in the project and jointly performed green works for cleaner Latvia.
The project has been invited to participate in the project throughout the year so that its residents can apply for free gathering of glass containers at their address, which will be performed BY THE “Eco Baltia Environment” SIA. There are already 33 municipalities in the “glass divorce” of Vistatavia: Garkalne, Ādaži, Tērvete, Vecumnieki, Salaspils, Sigulda, Bauska, Olaine, Babite, Lielvārde, Jackabpils, Krustpils, Livans, Saldus, Brocēni, Ludza, Durbe, Madona, Riebini, Rēzekne, Rēzekne municipality, Kuldīga, Rēzekne, Rēzekne municipality, Kuldīga, Skrunda, Preiļi, Viesīte, Alsunga, Preiļi, Viesīte, Alsunga, Preiļi, Viesīte, Alsunga, and Ventspils municipality.
