Rēzekne District Municipality Friendship Friendship “DeguBol”
On the evening of 22 January, the Rēzekne municipality of Rēzekne was invited to the newly discovered multifunctional hall OF Maltas, which took place at a school twinning evening called “Mongolian”, which was based on a volleyball competition between school teams. The aim of the event was the introduction of young people and the friendliness among themselves, the promotion of sport among young people, as well as an interesting and useful leisure of young people. The event was organised BY Maltas High School Self-Administration, along with Rezekne's youth affairs specialist Jānis Šaudiņš.
There were 9 mixed teams with participants from Lucia Ranāne McKashan High School, Secondary Schools, Dricānu Secondary Schools, Kaunatas High Schools and Maltas High Schools. In mixed team competitions, the team “Pokemonsky” (Normunds Litinskis, Maria Žuravuzva, Rihards Antonovs, Daina Kudravska, Dmitry Toodle, Laura nizina) was won the first place, leaving the team “Lāuki” (Andris Bringuļs, Alīna Vlasova, Lauris Abajevs, Iveta Rupaine, Otomar Kvitkovsky, Evija Laizane) in the second place. The “peaches” team (Anna Jakovļeva, Yevgenius Vlasov, Eduard Decterev, Alīna Calais, Andrejs Jermasvics, Paula Sanija Ogriņa) won the prize third place. At the end of the evening, there was also a twinning activity and games that were attracted not only by the volleyball players, but also by the supporters who came with them. Overall, “Monitor” gave an excellent impression to both the organisers and the participants. Young people are looking forward to the next twinning event.
