Rezekne municipality expresses support to Ukraine
In solidarity with the Ukrainian people on 24 February, a concert in support of Ukraine was held at the Rēzekne Festival Park.
The following spoke: Rēzekne municipality self-action collectors: mixed choir “Ezerland”, Rezekne municipality's vocal studio “Skonai”as well as the Rēzekne Ukrainian cultural education association Vodograj, Irina Hodivska (Ukraine) and Andris Baltacis.
The chairman OF the Rēzekne municipality council Monvīds Švarcs and the Ukrainian resident Ludmila Ovsjankina and Tatjana Switzerland, who are currently accustomed to the house, spoke. Rēzeknes novads. The Ukrainian people expressed great gratitude to Latvia and to the people who have provided assistance at this difficult time. The words were also said by 14. Saeima MEPs Anna Rancāne (new unity) and Leila Rasima (advanced).
Thank everyone who had arrived and expressed their support for the Ukrainian people, who are heroically continuing their struggle for their freedom.
On the first day of February 24, the sacrifices of the Ukrainian war were mentioned in the municipality of Rezekne. Various memorial activities were also held in educational institutions.
