Project of the Environmental Protection Fund of the municipality of Rezekne implemented in Rikava

THE Rikavas school is surrounded by a beautiful Rikavas manor park that encourages it to stay there not only in the free but also during the lessons. Thanks to the funding of the Environmental Protection Fund of the municipality of Rezekne, we had the opportunity to make and install a page, as well as twelve benches, which will be suitable for both outdoor exercises and leisure activities, as students, as well as other local residents and Rikavas guests.

The arbor was set in a landscape in a nice place at a small dirt with a beautiful oak. With THE support of Rikavas parish administration, the small pond was cleaned from shrubs and waterways this year, resulting in a further cleaned and “populated” location in THE Rikavas Manor Park.

In order to promote and increase the interest of pupils, awareness of developments in nature and the environment during the course of an outdoor exercise, the necessary equipment and equipment including lupes and binoculars were also purchased.

Total project funding: 2200.00 EUR, of which 2000.00 is the financing of the environmental protection fund.
