RTA study on the fight against Sosnovska hogweed and the harmfulness of the Rēzekne municipality
In 2016, a scientific gravel was implemented in the Rēzekne Technology Academy – “research of the information society regarding the fight against Sosnovsky Latvens and the harmlessness in Rezekne municipality” in collaboration with the municipality of Rezekne, the Nature Protection Administration and the Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre.
The purpose of the study was to carry out an interdisciplinary study which led to the development of information material and new knowledge, showing public awareness of the fight against Sosnovsky and the detriment of the Rēzekne municipality. The study was carried out over the period from February 2016 to December 2016.
