Beginning of the newspaper day and a project organised by TV3, Latvia's pride 2014

Already 11 th year newspaper “Day” and TV3, participating in the portal draugiem.lv, organizes a project Latvian pride, in which the dignified and determined people who have been unselfishly helped in the disaster have been honoured, have given hope, inspired, or filled a quiet dream. Project organisers wait for applications from August 13 to October 15 Latvia's pride 2014.
In a newspaper “Day” by the end of the year, a story about the people of Latvia's pride will be published. In the second Christmas, on December 26, Latvia's pride 2014 will be concluded with the honesty ceremony in TV3, where the symbolic Latvian pride award – gold apple – will be presented in ten nominations.
For Latvian pride the Prize laureates shall decide in a reasoned discussion: Latvian pride the jury.

Edgars Kots, Chairman of THE BOARD of Governors, emphasizes that “Day” is always with satisfaction and a great sense of responsibility in the organisation of the project, as Latvian pride in the light, what is truly valuable in our lives. “Latvia's pride has already entered the second tenth of years, and it is now safe to say that it has become a valuable tradition and reminds every year that good heart, human behaviour and courage are gold.”
This Year Project Latvian pride the Latvian Railway and Riga Free Port Administration are taking place.
Latvian pride candidates may be submitted by sending letters to latvijaslepnums@dienasmediji.lv or by post, address: Latvian pride, Mukusalas street 15, Riga, LV-1004, as well as completing the application questionnaire in portal www.diena.lv, www.tv3.lv and www.draugiem.lv/latvijaslepnums
