Seminar for the expansion of the market for local production

The “top!” store network, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and the continuing education department of the Latvian Rural Advisory and Education Centre, organises an educational free seminar “expanding the market of local production” within the framework of national rural network activities. The seminar will be held on 27 February of that year at 11:00, Garden Street 7a, Rezekne, SIA “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre” in Rezekne Consultation Bureau building.
The seminar is organised with the aim of expanding the market for local food production and promoting cooperation between local agricultural producers and the “top!” network.
As part of the seminar, representatives of the “top!” store network will inform farmers about the basic principles of cooperation, logistical possibilities, marketing activities, advertising of the product offered. In the event, food producers will receive practical advice on the opportunities to successfully sell their products in shops, making communication with traders, preparing a supply of goods, the main requirements to be taken into account when farmers want to offer their products to shops.
On the other hand, SIA “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre” project manager Guna Šulce will discuss food quality schemes in Latvia and SIA “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre” Head of the Ogre Bureau Gints Briežkalns seminar visitors will inform visitors of the regulatory framework requirements that need to be met in order to be able to realise their production.
