SIA “ALAAS '' extends the sorted waste range
SIA “ALAAS '' actively educates the population about the sorting of waste. Waste sorting is the separation of municipal waste from the types of waste that can be recycled. It is pleasant that the number of people engaged in active waste sorting is increasing every year. Waste sorting is a step towards a modern and environmentally friendly style of life. It is an opportunity for both the conservation of natural resources, the promotion of environmental protection and the reduction of daily expenditure on the removal of waste.
SIA “ALAAS '' is constantly working to make it easier for citizens to understand how to properly sort the waste and to make a more widespread range of waste. The good news is that the plastic fraction sorting possibilities will be expanded from March to March. Now a lightweight container can still be placed in the container:
• household chemistry and hygienic plastic packagings (PPPs, PS, PET)
food packagings, bottles, cartons, bottles, bags (PP, PS, PET).
When sorting plastic, it is important to pay attention to the labelling. The type of plastic material is placed on the packaging (most often in the rear) with a special label – a number of the arrows that contains the name of the material name. All food, household chemistry and cosmetic packagings with HDPE, PP, PS and PET are valid for sorting. These are bottles of shampoos, washing bottles, floor and dishwasher packaging, all food packagings
(yoghurt, cream dishes, etc.). The sorting is also valid for windscreen washer and car engine coolant packs, usually from HDPE material.
In order to better understand how to properly sort the waste, we have prepared an opinion material that specifically describes what can be sorted in a light packaging container, which can be sorted in a glass packaging container, but which waste cannot be recycled, so they must be discarded in a municipal waste container.
