Implementation of the School Self-Government Project “Acquisition of Tourism Inventory” at the Testing School
From 1 July 2022 to 30 September 2022, the local government of the Testing School implemented the project “purchase of tourism stock”. During the implementation of the project, a tourism inventory of EUR 729,92 WAS purchased, of which 700,00 EURO is the resources allocated by the municipality of Rezekne for the project. Four triple tents, eight inflatable mattresses, eight tourist carpets were purchased for project activities.
The tourist inventory acquired was used for the following measures:
31.05. – 01.06.2022. - Hiking of class 4 pupils with accommodation by route Vecružina – Sokolki – Vecružina;
05.07. -06.07 .2022. - pārgājiens of the school and Silmalas parish youth with accommodation to a recreational base “Razna Bay” at Razna Lake Čornajas parish;
27.05.2022. - Spring and 27.09.2022. - autumn hiking for all students of primary school students.
More than 50 participants were involved in the implementation of the project activities, as a number of tourism activities were organised, which included almost all students in Classes 1-12 of the High School (primary school), many school graduates and Silmalas parish young people.
The objective of the project has been achieved and the project tasks are fulfilled. A new tourism inventory was purchased for the implementation of the project, Hiking in spring, summer and autumn were organised. Tourism skills have been developed for young people, improved knowledge of their municipality, encouragement of active and healthy recreation, development of cooperation and communication skills.
The inventory acquired will continue to be used to organise tourism activities for schools in schools and young people. Thanks to all the teachers and staff of the Higher Primary School, Silmalas parish head of administration Janis Laizāns, bus drivers for the support of the activities of our school pupils' self-government project, the fact that they were together helped to organise and safeguard the hiking!
