Rēzekne municipality dancers participate in the selection of the school youth dance collective selection
It is the first time THAT THE LATVIAN School Youth Song and Dance Celebration Dance Higher concert “until the rainbow can be seen” by the People's Dance Collection. On 7 March, the Rēzekne cultural house was dominated by a strong activity, anxiety, ignorance, excitement from the early morning, when collectively they tried their choices and loose dances, which would have to be shown in front of the Riga jury. 28 Rēzeknes and Viļānu dance collectors who prepare for school youth song and dance festivals took part. The show ran until a late evening, and only seven evening they could find out the results.
All collectively came under Grade I and II diplomas. These are welcome results because collective managers, teachers, parents have invested in a thorough effort to make these results the best. For those who will participate collectively in the song and dance festival in Riga from 6 to 12 July, we will only find out on 20 May, when all the views will be closed and the limit of how much collective with the highest number of points in each of the groups will be selected. We'll look forward to invitations to our collective and hope that it will be much!
It should be noted that many other Rēzekne municipality collectively continue to prepare for selection views – folklore sets, choirs, visual and stage art groups and collectively. All our collectors will be able to participate in our own collection of Rēzekne and Viļānu songs and dance festivals on the beach island, Viļānos on 30 May.
