The Successful Summer Week

Week from 27.07-2.08 The Rēzekne municipality's vocal studio “Skonai” was passed on to joy wind wings, because for a third year we had only a chance to work together for “Skonai” in the summer creative week of the field “Jānis” on the shore of Lake Rushon. The fresh forest air, the magic of the lake, the sunset magic and the undetectable joy of being, forced the week to penetrate.
At the time of the creative week, as it was, we did not just rest, but we worked hard. The Head OF Activity, under the direction of Kuzmina and E. Yuknas, could show themselves and prove themselves from different viewpoints - composing, creating horeography, writing, preparing, sporting, competing for an erudite title, communicating both daily and through different tasks. Despite the rainy days, this week was accompanied by the sun in his heart. We went on a small trip, where we visited the craftsmen and the artists and the Aivars Ushpeals, where not only did we look at the ceramic-making process, but we also tried to build ourselves; we also climbed into the big Liepukalna view tower to enjoy the fabulous landscape of our lover Latgale. After the creative weeks spent together, they have developed new experiences and impressions and have certainly become happier. During the creative week, we met a new repertoire, who was amazing in the autumn.
Also, there is another event that has been seen during the week and a work has been performed - the video clip for the song “kod tevis is not” (Guntras Kuzminas music, Voldemara Vogula words), which will be handed over to the audience of the viewers in pink and autumn winds. We can whisper that it will be something very beautiful and charming. Thank you very much to Latgale enthusiastic group “Tildis” for ideas and work!
We, “Skonai” young people, are happy that we have the opportunity to be together in summer, to be creative and enjoy. Thank you very much for the teachers of the creative week: the artistic leader of the vocal studio, Guntrai Kuzmina, our dance teacher Edgar Yukin and the creative weekly leader Janis Mežinskim! A great and truly sincere thanks also to the municipality of Rezekne, whose support gives us not only this joyful summer week, but also allows us to participate in many and various events, to create concerts and to do what we truly love!
