Sports club “LATGOLYS VONOGI” – with the heart in Rēzekne municipality!
The year 2021 was unusual and heavy. SEE “LATGOLYS VONOGI” decided to look back at what was done this year.
At the beginning of the year, the entire sports activity in the country was paralyzed, so it was necessary to deal with the problem. “Don't sit at home, go, run, hide!” “The parish parish for children who had to collect as many kilometres as possible by skiing, walking or running. More than 20 children and even some parents participated in the competition. Time of norises – January and February. Each month, the best were awarded with prizes, which were organised BY the“ LATGOLYS VONOGI ”.
During the winter period, more specifically in March, we had one of our ideas - going across the Aamov lake, so that both children and their parents were gathered on a winter Saturday, and a move across the Aamov Lake was carried out.
Spring and summer are seasons in which club activities are particularly active. By attracting the youth of the association, two projects of the Rēzekne Municipality Initiative were written, which were supported.
With the co-financing of the Rēzekne Municipality and Youth Sports School (BJSS), two beach areas were newly formed in an overgrown grassland near Lake Adamova, where all summer Vērēmu parish residents could actively spend their free time.
The second project made it possible to purchase a variety of sports equipment, inviting lecturers who took lessons as a healthy lifestyle and organizing a volleyball tournament with both children and their parents.
In the middle of the summer, Berzgale was organized by a massive volleyball tournament, “MIX 1 +1”, with more than 60 participants. The tournament had three rounds.
Summer is a grateful time to organize camps. A volleyball day camp was held in collaboration with the Rēzekne municipality, BJSS 25 Vērēmu and Bērzgales parish children. There were three drills per day, swimming, living in our Olympics in Olympiad, four-time caterers, and many other adventures.
SEE “LATGOLYS VONOGI” in cooperation with the municipality of Rēzekne for the second year in turn organizes the largest amateur volleyball tournament outside Riga – a SABRE VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE. This year, 10 women and 9 men's teams participate in it, bringing together about 250 athletes whose biggest hobbies are volleyball games.
The autumn colored Latgale in very beautiful shades, so the club continued to activate sporting activities in this season, offering a variety of routes that could be both large and small. One of these was the 14 km long walk around the Aamov Lake, with Vērēmu parish residents.
However, the autumn not only comes with the beautiful time, but also the case and the dark evenings. As a result, the club offered and organized Vērēmu parish-fashioned volleyball exercises where the skills and skills of the volleyball game could be learned. The responsiveness was a great deal of great pleasure.
We decided to finish this year with two volleyball tournaments. One will call “Vērēmu snowflakes 2021” with a format of 1 +1 (one parent + child). The second will be for young people - “Adamowa winter 2021”.
