“With the ♥ for Latvia” Tisky High School

On Saturday, November 15, a festive festival “with Latvia” was held at ♥ High School, which was prepared by Latvian language and music teachers Iveta Bondare, Ludmila. Sukukstele and Irina Scherbacov. In the festival, there was a lot of beautiful songs about Latvia – both patriotic and Latvian peoples' songs, which were performed by our small and big singer. The school's instrumental ensemble executed a wonderful lyric Imanta Kalniņa composition “the way home.” The pupils read the works of Latvian poets and writers and reminded the viewers of some Latvian symbols watching the film “Latvian sounds”. The school director Olga Missevich and the deputy director at the Elita Valenieka event celebrated the winners of various Olympics, competitions and sports competitions with diplomas and sweet gifts. And, of course, all together – pupils, teachers and parents – proud of their beloved Latvia, sang the anthem of Latvia and Rezekne.
