Local gravel roads in Rezekne municipality will be improved
With the support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) since 3 April 2018, the implementation of project No 18-01-a00702-000013 of the municipality of Rezekne has been launched “Improving the municipal road infrastructure in Rezekne District, 4 th round”. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of the gravel roads of the municipality of Rezekne for the promotion of rural business and ensuring the reach of the local population.
Within the framework of the project, by 21 May 2020, a reconstruction of the gravel road of the five municipalities of Rezekne will be performed. Audriņu parish works are already started in the second half of the month of May of that year, where motorway No. 4209 “Small Puderova – Audriņi” and No. 4210 “Krivad – Mežars” are performed by SIA “Vaivars”. In the month of June of that year, THE construction company SIA “Vaivars”, as WELL as the “Kauno Bridge” subcontractor, was started by THE construction firm Sia “Vaivars” as a subcontractor of the “Kauno Bridge” in THE month of June of that year. Vērēmu parish road No. 9602 “Sondori – Lobori” 1.5 km conversion performer will be THE “Kauno bridge” who plans to commence construction work this summer. Conversely, the rest of the two roads will be launched in the autumn. In September, 1 TP12T parish will commence the reconstruction of motorway No. 7405 “Lodges – Aizpiekre”, which will be performed BY SIA “E Construction Control”. And finally, in October, Lendžu parish will start motorway No. 6612 “Ciskov – Cirm Station” 1.9 km reconstruction work.
In accordance with Decision No 01.3-11/18/133-e of the Rural Support Service 21.06.2018, the eligible costs of the project are EUR 1 102 615,74, of which the public EAFRD funding allocated is 90% or 992 354.17 EURO.
