Meeting with Inga Joludi Lūznavas in Manor
21 May at 17.00 Lūznavas in a manor with readers will meet the prosairess Inga Jolude, who has been nominated by several novels for a year of literature.
The writer, Inga Jolude, after her first novel (“warm land” (2008), “red children” (2012)) marked a bright, different style in the Latvian feminine prose. On the one hand, she was surprised by the freshness of the subject and ideas, and, on the other hand, continued the strong line of women's writing in Latvian. Each subsequent work demonstrates the style and the delicate language of the autopsy.
The style of Inga Joludes is characterised by colourism, mysticism and deep synergy between the archaeologically deep and contemporary sense of life, the fixation of world perception. Therefore, her latest work on the poet Janis Poruku (“Vendenes lotospuķe”, 2021) discloses the autores's own style and shows the Latvian literature cluster in a new light. The fact that the autopsy works have been translated into many languages of the world can be perceived as a recognition and other sign in world literature.
I. The Joludes novels “red children” (2012), “materia Botanica” (2018), “Vendenes lotospuķe” (2021), and the Krajums “stories” (2015) refer to the literature year award as the best prose works of the year. She received the European Union Prize for Literature (2010).
