Tractorial parade in Rogovka
On July 17, in Rēzekne Municipality Days IN Rogovka, the first tractor station was held in Rogovka, where 24 parish farmers exhibited their forces. A circle of honor around Rogovka's centre was carried out by both the older tractor parish, Jānis Michchenko “T-25”, who had been running for 44 years on THE parish of Nautrēnu, and the peasant farm “Laigalava”, which has not yet been in print.
According to Nautrēnu parish rural development consultant Anastasia Saleniece, in the early nineties, more than a hundred work horses have been parish, this number has been reduced several times. In order to honor the horses, the bigger and strongest assistants of our ancestors in the holding, the parade of Jura Vonoga's horse as a traveller drove forward for the entire tractor.
Although the technical phenomenon took place in the “heat” of the working season, however, Aivars Šķesters, head of the parish administration, stressed that the farmers had been responsive, saying that two hours could be used to show their technique, to see what new owners had purchased, and to discuss various economic issues.
It was also possible for visitors to shopping in the “Green Market”, observe live sculptures, as well as taste the salts and sweet cheeses of Eastern Latgale professional secondary school students, while the musical greetings were welcomed by Etnographic ensemble “Rogovka” and the youth dance collective “noise voi”.
Aivars Skesters emphasized that parish farmers have something to do because the agricultural technique is almost every Nautrēnu parish in the farm, so if there is interest, other years are planned for similar technical debts.
