Will continue to carry out significant road reconstruction in Rēzekne municipality

Since 18 September 2017, the European Regional Development Fund project No. 1 of the City Council of Rezekne has been 5.6.2.0/16/I/018 “Creation of industrial areas for business promotion in the municipality of Rezekne, Rezekne and Viļānu” implementation. The municipality of Rezekne is a partner of that project and will carry out, during the project, a significant number of 13 (!) motorways and street conversion works by the construction of asphalt or double surface handling cover for these roads.
In the autumn of last year, the construction works of motorways “leya Anchupans-leja Anchupans” (0.391 km) and “Ratinine-Obricki” (0.436 km) were launched in THE parish OF Vērēmu. In February 2018, the road “Lūznava-Veczosna” (4.433 km) IN Lūznavas parish and road “Gailumi-Gorsvani-Turlaji” (2.633 km) IN Ilzeskalna parish reconstruction works. In March of this year, however, the construction works of the motorway “Madolesje-Sprukti-Vishi-Asanas” (2.099 km) are started in the parish OF Stoļerovas. In total, in 2018, the reconstruction of the other 7 (seven) motorways and streets will be carried out: the reconstruction of the youth street (0.994 km) in Uļjanov Sakstagala parish; the reconstruction of the “Rēzekne-Melava-ants” (1.530 km) road in the parish OF Vērēmu; the reconstruction of the motorway “Littsmen – Jupatovka” (1.895 km) and the new street of Janaples village (including the municipality motorway No 5603) (1.211 km) in THE parish OF Griškānu; THE conversion of THE Maltas village of the village (1.238 km); the conversion of the road “males – Rital” (0.27 km) to Ozolaines parish; the construction of the motorway “Vainova-Chernoste” (0.53 km) IN the parish OF Feimaņu; the motorway “Vainova-Chernoste” (0.53 km) IN the parish OF Feimaņu, and the conversion of the motorway “Vainova-Chernoste” (0.53 km) IN THE parish of Feimaņu, and the conversion OF the motorway “Vainova-Chernoste” (0.53 km) IN THE parish OF Feimaņu.
The roads to be rebuilt in Rezekne municipality were selected on the basis of the demand of entrepreneurs and their participation in the achievement of project objectives by private investment in tangible assets and intangible investments, as well as creating new jobs in enterprises over the period 2014-2021.
The purpose of the project is to organise the public infrastructure necessary for commercial activities on the basis of the needs of merchants, the increase in private investment volume and the development of entrepreneurship in the city of Rezekne, Rezekne and Viļānu in the recovery of degraded areas.
The main activities of the project are the reconstruction of the Rēzekne city Moscow, the storehouse and the hero streets at the total length of 3.1 km, THE 1 TP5T city centre and the construction of the Tenana street in 1.643 km total; the reconstruction of the municipality of Rezekne in Vērēmu, Griškānu, Sakstagala, Stoļerovas, Lūznavas, Maltas, Ozolaines, Feimaņu, Ilzeskalna and Mākoņkalna parish in the total length of 19,181 km; the conversion and construction of water and sewerage networks in the separate street stages in the city of Rezekne and Viļānu; the recultivation of the water and sewerage networks in the city of Rezekne and Viļānu; the recultivation of the land in the city of Rēzekne in the city of Rezekne.
Duration of the project 21 months.
The planned output indicators of the project are 207 new jobs, additional non-financial investments of 10 714 170.66 EURO and reduction of degraded areas by 37.84 ha; including The planned outcome of the Rezekne city is 71 new jobs, additional non-financial investments in the amount of EUR 4 327 583.66 and a reduction of the degraded areas by 21,41 ha; THE estimated output indicators of Viļānu are 27 jobs new places, additional non-financial investments of 1 617 046,33 EURO and reduction of degraded areas 8.1 ha; the planned local government output indicators of Rezekne are - 109 new jobs, additional non-financial investments of 4 769 540.67 EURO and reduction of the degraded areas by 8.33 ha.
The total eligible costs of the project are EUR 11 795 780,07, from which the co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund 10 026 413,06 EURO, the State budget grant of EUR 492 625,54 and the municipal financing of EUR 1 276 741.47. The recipient of the project is the City Council of Rezekne, the project co-operation partner Rezekne Municipality, THE Municipality OF Viļānu, SIA “Rezekne Water”, SIA “Viļānu housekeeper”.
The total eligible costs of municipal roads and street reconstruction included in the municipality project are 4 802 097.73 EURO, including ERDF funding 85% or 4 081 783.07 EURO, municipal funding 10.51 TP1T or 504 220,27 EURO and State budget grant 4.51 TP1T or 216 094.39 EURO.
