Businessmen are invited to use the opportunities provided by Latgale representation in Riga

On June 18, 2014, in Tower Street 4, IIIc, Riga (Jacob's barracks) opened Latgale region. The representation was established in the framework of the programme co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Instrument “strengthening capacity and institutional cooperation between Latvian and Norwegian state institutions, local and regional authorities” within the framework of the project “Implementation of regional policy activities in Latvia and development of regional development measures”.
The purpose of opening the representation is to contribute to the development of Latgale business and the promotion of the whole region, as well as to activate local resources and local partnerships between entrepreneurs, local public authorities, cultural and educational institutions, the financial sector and the non-governmental sector, which will generally contribute to the development of the region.
Latgale businessmen are invited to use free conferences, meetings and workplaces at Riga Center with standard offset equipment and Wi-Fi connection possibilities, as the main objective of bringing Latgale entrepreneurs' communication with potential investors and potential co-operation partners. Riga and especially Old Riga are a popular place in Latvia for foreign guests, so as entrepreneurs, presenting their products or services in representative offices, it is an opportunity to find new partners in Latvia and abroad!
The regional investment projects of the region are already presently presented in Latgale region, as well as the production of Latgale local entrepreneurs and craftsmen. In view of the importance of tourism in promoting regional development outside national and regional development centres, tourism opportunities in Latgale will also be presented in cooperation with local government and tourism service providers.
