What do you need to join a business incubator?

Pre-incubation program You'll need a business idea, a desire to become a businessman and a desire to learn how to start a business. To qualify on aid in the incubation programme a company (not older than 3 years) and a product prototype or service design/plan must be established. There is no mandatory condition, but as an advantage the export potential will be considered and if the start-up company represents a high or medium-high-tech area. 

What support will your business idea or company get if you join a business incubator?

The participants of the pre-incubation programme shall participate in intensive training programme within six months, creating and testing the prototype of their product or service, in addition to receiving the support of competent mentors and recommendations for resolving business challenges, access to the Community and the co-production premises. 

While at the time of incubation, the participants receive various types of consultations, including from mentors who are knowledgeable in the sector concerned, the opportunity to attend in-depth seminars and training, access to co-production facilities and the largest new entrepreneurs of Latvia for the Community, as well as financial support – 50% co-financing for various services, the purchase of equipment and equipment and 30% co-financing for the purchase of raw materials and raw materials.

Applications for pre-incubation and incubation may be submitted electronically by sending an electronic signed application to pasts@liaa.gov.lv (time stamp of the deadline for submission of edoc – until 22 March 2021) 23:59). 

The business incubator services of Rezekne are available to the authors of business ideas and new entrepreneurs in the administrative territory of 11 municipalities in North-East Latgale, including Rezekne, Rezekne, Viļānu, Ludza, Carsava, Zilupes, Ciblas, Awards, Vilaka, Rugja and Baltinava provinces.

THE purpose of THE IDAL business incubators is to support the creation and development of new, viable and competitive enterprises.
