These garments were studied and notes on their production were taken by Aija Jansone, Head of the Ethnography Department of the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum, during the Latgale expedition in the summer of 2023. Visitors are offered a unique opportunity to view these ancient garments and explore the needlework techniques used in the making of liturgical garments, types of fabrics, and symbols that adorn liturgical textiles.
