“Lapsas muižas bread"
"Lapsas muižā" Rosicā, Stoļerovasor Vita Seņkāne works at home in Rosicā, Stoļerovas parish. The traditional bread of the ancestors is made there, those interested are invited to visit to get to know the ancient craft and the traditional bread baking technique.

The name "Lapsas muižas maize" was born on the spur of the moment, but after thinking about it, it couldn't be more appropriate. Fox - because I have always felt both the resemblance and attraction to this animal. The fox also comes to the yard, and the farm animals have not complained about its presence either, while the fox has never taken the chickens away. The manor is a plan for the future. Especially if you look at the future development in the direction of tourism. "House" seemed not enough, they wanted something stronger and "Manor" was created. Living here in Rosica, in Stoļerova parish, one has the feeling that it is not animals entering the farm, but living among animals, nature is everything here.
Adhering to the traditional values of "Lapsas muiža", which completely coincide with Vita Seņkāne values in baking bread, the types of bread are strictly traditional. White bread is sugar-free. Only yeast, flour, water and salt are the basic ingredients. Raised rye bread - traditions of the ancestors. Also with seeds, but mostly traditional.
Baking bread, shaping it from grain to product is a difficult profession. The result is not always what you wanted to see. It seems like the recipe is the same, but it comes out different every time. Influenced by natural conditions – phases of the moon, winter/summer, fermentation time; if it rains, the bread rises more slowly.
"Lapsa manor" offers:
