XVII CURRICULA AND STORYTELLER EVENING

The purpose of the curiosity and storyteller evening is to meet again after a short break when WE celebrated 18 years in February 2020. We want to listen to the beautiful songs of our beloved curiosity and the stories, to promote modern folklore as an integral part of society, to promote the preservation of the traditions of the People's traditions and the process of inheritance, as well as to ensure the process of learning and exchange of experience between curricula and storytellers.
In the evening of the curricula and storytellers, the performers of Latvian and other peoples' curricula and writings of folklore participate.
Invited to participate:
Individual performers, family ensembles, vocal ensembles, folklore pools, rural chapels, People's music ensembles, collective societies, etc.
To tell you all interested in age 16.
This year we have chosen the theme “curiosity or story about a special life event”.
We call on the participants to think about it, think and sing this topic through generations of inherited curiosity (such as the event - entry into daughters, pubs, villages, love-related curiosity, hope, marriage, divorce, etc.);
Storytellers are invited to tell funny, naughty, serious, funny events, anecdotes, occurrences, rumours, etc. on the subject. A good storyteller is the one who even “blows” a terrible event!
Do not tell authors literary works (such as fragments from writers, poets, ferrous writers, etc.). We don't sing modern composer songs.
In the application form, please provide all information on the enforceable repertoire. The leaders of the event will tell you the information you have provided in the questionnaires.
The curiors execute 2 songs in acoustic instruments.
Storyteller duration of up to 10 minutes, obligatory you must say yourself (e.g. by naming a name, surname, or one of your own nicknames, and from where and what to say.

The curricula and storytellers will receive prizes:
For storytellers - 1 viewer sympathy prize, 1 event organizer prize
For curricula - 1 viewer sympathy prize, 1 event organizer prize
Request to participants - We want to continue the tradition of THE PRIZES - each collective prepares and takes a small gift (it might have been made, baked, preserved, collected, etc.). We'll give each other together at the time of the summation.
Progress of the event:
15. 00 – 18.00 - for curiosity and stories;
18.30 – 19:00 summation and gifts;
19.00 - The party at the tables with dances.
