Green class – green thinking, green feel!

At the beginning of the summer, the environmental protection fund project of the municipality of Rezekne was implemented “green class – green thinking, green feel!”. The purpose of the project was Sakstagala Jānis Kaida's primary school surroundings and the adaptation of the green area of the courtyard to the organisation of a diverse learning process.
In the framework of the project, a footer with benches and a table was installed in the school area, which could be used for driving hours. The total amount of the project is EUR 1999.08.
This makes it possible to create and improve students' interest in studying natural systems and processes, creating children's understanding of natural diversity and unity, promoting favourable attitudes in the preservation and improvement of the environment and health. Students are practically active.
The area planned for the project is divided into two areas: green class (fox) and natural researcher trail.
