Z/s “Geneys” located in Rēzekne municipality, Nautrene parish in Christinos. Since 2007, the farmer Gunta Grina, who has been working with tea and drying, is assisted by his spouse and four children. The housewife says that the family had been living in Riga and drove to Latgale every holiday to collect and maintain their rural property. It has become a complicated, so decided to move here for a permanent life.
To earn with tea, there is a lot of work to do. It is not easy to enter large trade chain stores, so tea and other products are offered in the markets of Rezekne and other regions, as well as tourists who come to the Jeneet and enjoy the environment. The design design uses Lielvald belt elements, but the logo of the holding is an anchor, as the founder of the farm, Gunta's father, Zigfrīds Bratuskin, has been a sailor.
In his farm, Gunta cultivates 70 plants, the rest being harvested in meadows. All ingredients are folded and figured by themselves: “they must drink the tea they like, the taste and the smell, not the ones they suggest.” Tea drying takes place in a special tea house where the temperature of the tea so important can be observed. '
In the tea house, the housekeeper also offers visitors other self-made things. These are products for sauna – Lin pillows with vegetable fills, sauna seats, self-made wool products – hats, toys.
In the last year, z/s “Janis” received the award of “Valetudo patriae” (“health of the country”) supported by the Latvian Medical Association and the Ministry of Agriculture for the production of healthy products.

Inga Zeile, with his spouse Daini from Maltese parish, started his economic activities relatively recently but has already gained recognition. Their cooked peppers, acidic cabbages and tomato plants are well known and favorite, and all fairs have their own buyers and good outlets. Dainis comes from Daugavpils, Inga - from the awards, both of them met in Malta.
The farming started with strawberries. It's just as good as the cabbage. Every year, 10 000 plants are installed on the holding. Inga and Dainis made their decisions very quickly, so the year when the cabbage was excellent, it was decided to process them for their own forces by acidifying several barrels and the outlet was good.
It's been seven years now and the work is working. A little more calm is the beginning of the year, after Christmas fever, then the seed, the cooked land, the spring sowing, then the crazy summer run with the refining and the cultivated processing. Everything is hand-to-hand. The demand for production is gradually increasing as well as the areas to be treated.
Inga and Dainis are actively participating in project competitions. The project “aid for the start-up of business through the development of small farm holdings”, the small tractor, the electric building for the planting of cabbages, including the freezing and storage of cold chamber berries. The third greenhouse was bought.
On the question of the key to their success, the master replies that they do everything with love. A lot of thinking about the visual image of the farm, such as a handsome apron with “Inga peppercakes”, creates an ad for each product.
