Representatives of the municipality of Rēzekne are visited by representatives of Italian, Portuguese and Greek municipalities
On May 15, the municipality of Rezekne was visited by representatives of Italian, Portuguese and Greek municipalities who are staying in Latvia under the “Youth inclusive Enterpreneurship” project. Guests met the President of the Rēzekne council, Monweed Shvard and Head of Development Planning Division Annu Jaudzem. Monvīds Švarcs told the Rēzekne municipality that the painful question, as in many parts of Europe, is unemployment. In order to address the problem, schools have set up a programme that invites pupils to form their own businesses, guests told Monvīds Švarcs: “we teach pupils how to create a business instead of looking for a job, thus raising a prospective entrepreneur. In four school schools, business consultants are employed, who teach how to register school students, how to organize documents, organize a business strategy, but at the end of the school year also perform liquidation of the company to be a full understanding of the work of the companies. '
Representatives of the “Youth inclusive Enterpreneurship” project in Rezekne municipality will work together with the education – business contact point for commercial activities specialists, as well as visiting Lūznavas mur, turning into a guitar museum and pottery workshops.
