On July 23, the municipality of Rēzekne calls for a festival!
In the middle of the summer, on 23 July, the municipality of Rēzekne, the municipality of Rēzekne, has organised exciting, family, educational and sporting events, a celebrated festival – the day of Rezekne's municipality in Anchupan Valley. Everybody will find appropriate activities in the broad agenda of the event.
From 12.00, the basketball game fans will be able to find the best team in the quartball competition, while at 14.00 for the second time there will be a competition “Strength Field Man – 2016” of Rezekne. In order to become the strongest man of the entire municipality, the strength and strength of the parish will have to be tested in a wide range of disciplines, including the treating of the tractor, the lifting of the log, the asparagus, and elsewhere. Meanwhile, small enthusiasts will be able to check their excitement in the “adventure trail” where the amusement and relay children will be offered a society “for a strong family.”
As usual, at 15.00 visitors will be expected to attend fairs, where a record of 90 craftsmen, traders and caterers will participate this year. This time, the municipality of Rēzekne took care to ensure that the market was in the national mood, and visitors could buy as many ceramic dishes as possible, pickup, toys, leather products, jewellery, clothes and other things that were spoiled in the skilled hands of our own craftsmen.
As a follow-up to the tradition of “parish divisions”, it is also that year from 16.00 Rēzekne municipality county, with which they are strong and wealthy. The parish street will include both artisanal demonstration and creative workshops, both artistic self-activities and cultural heritage.
At 17.00, a festive musical part of the festival will begin with the concert “in the home of my home city” and the strongest and most talented families of Rezekne will be honored. After the celebration of the festival, the festival will continue at night ball—from 18.30 to morning, everyone is invited to dance with ten musicians and groups. On two stage plays, Intars Busulis, “menuets”, “other side”, “Laimas Muzykanti”, “Dabasu Durovys”, “Ginc & es”, Voicek Voiska, “graves” and other musicians known in Latvia.

On July 23, “Rēzeknes traffic” bus additional flights to and from the event venue in Anchupan valley will be available on 23 July. From the Viping stop, the bus is at 14.35, 16.17, 18.15, Kartodroma will arrive at approximately 15.00, 16.45, 18.40, and move forward to the “Blaumaana Street” stop, while the Bar Street bus stops at 13.50, 15.34, 17.04, Kartodroma will be approximately at noon 14.05, 15.45, 17.15, and move further along the usual route to the “Wiping” stop. In addition to the flight from Vipings, it will be at 19.10 by route Viping – Rēznas Street – Latgales Street – release alley – cosmonauta street – Vilaka Street – Kartodrom. From Kartodroma to the “Viping” stop, there will be an additional flight. 00.00 and at 02.00. Buses will serve passengers at all stops throughout the route. Ticket price: EUR 0,50.
A total of up to 10 thousand people are expected to attend festival events. In order to ensure the security of the events of the event, the period from 23 July at 12.00 to 24 July 9.00, motorway p-36 “Rēzekne – Gulbene” from the border of Rezekne to a circular crossing with A-12 “Jçkabpils – Rezekne – Ludza – Russian border (Terehova)” will be allowed only one-way movement towards Rezekne. Maximum speed permitted at this stage of road – 30 km/h. It should be noted that entering and leaving SIA “Dinaz” service station and/from the Anchupan Memorandum does not change. Yellow temporary signs will be placed on drivers' convenience, which will help to drive the Anchupan valley area. Changes in the traffic organisation are necessary because the parking area and the location of the events are not on the same side of the road, and a road carriageway will also be used for bus parking.
