To be invited to participate in the workshop of bird cages

Continuing the activities of the European Union “URBACT” project “Volunteering Cities +” (volunteering), Saturday, 16 April, from 12.00 to 15.00 “Thistle” (“Forestry”, Teveņans, Viļānu parish) will be a workshop for the production of bird cages in Viļānu. We will create new houses for small, wicker neighbors – streams, pupils, sparrows and others. The event will be one of the “birthday Viļānos” activities, which also provide for talks on birds with the Management Board Sharov, an exhibition (to be held from 16 April to 29 April), as well as quizzes on birds. 

Irina Klimanova, head of the research centre “Thistle”, will be guided by THE workshop of the bird cages. There is no need to worry about the training skills of bird cages, as valuable advice and instructions will be shared by the masters of bird cages. They will be able to place their own hands in nearby trees or take them home and put them in their courtyard. 

Participation in the workshop of bird cages shall be free of charge. The required timber, nails, pencils and measuring strips will be available in the dazzle, but the hammers and working gloves must be accompanied by their own.

We are invited to join the vicinians as well as the people of the surrounding parish and participate in both this and other volunteering activities!
