Supported project “Establishment of an outdoor training area with recreational areas IN parish Maltas”

The Rural Support Service's Eastern Latgale Regional Agricultural Administration has approved the project application “establishment of an outdoor training area with recreational areas IN Maltas parish” (No. 17-01-AL15-a019 .2203-000004), which was submitted to THE EAFRD Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 “implementation of the activity according to the community-led local development strategy”. The project competition was announced by the association “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership”.
The area is planned to be built by schools and Fr. Trass street crossing, next to the pre-school educational institution “Dzīpariņš”. A recreational area will be installed in the area by building a pedestrian track and installing 2 benches and 2 waste tanks, as well as 16 outdoor trainers will be installed, thus offering site visitors a place for physical activity, which provides an opportunity to reduce the consequences of the minor nature of life, improve the health of children, young people and older people.
The realization of the project will provide benefits to society for several years by promoting healthy lifestyles through street gymnastics, as well as spending time in a high-quality and well-equipped environment.
The eligible costs of the project are EUR 19 979.58, of which public funding is EUR 17 981,62. Co-financing OF EUR 1 997.96 will be provided by the municipality.
An outdoor training area with a rest area will be available free of charge to all stakeholders.
