Audriņu primary school students go to excursion at dolls and snails
On October 8, students of classes 4 and 5 of THE Audriņu primary school went to study excursions to Preiļi. Students could look at the exhibition “doll museum”, much to learn about the results of the fantasy of the artist Yelena Mikhailov.
In the courtyard we had two castles in miniature with luxurious towers, bridges and water mills. Students are happy to take photographs on the background of the palace. In order to make the photographs even more romantic, Yelena has embroidered ancient clothes for both adults and children. The courtyard has been supplemented by many ancient elements. There is a world of fairy tales and fantasy in the doll gallery, where the main actors are the artist-made dolls.
In the Village of Preiles, approximately 500 m beyond the city border to Daugavpils side, there is an “existing house” where the owners deal with the whole non-traditional, Latgale non-traditional and modern agricultural production – the cultivation of tartarian forests. The pupils were able to enjoy the vineyard meat prepared according to the original local recipes, supplemented by the Latvian drink – the cooked peppermint tea.
The total trip strengthened the classmates' relationship and had a good impact on the overall class microclimate. The children learned a lot of new information and rested well. He learned to think about his future. Students at the time of excursion met and understood how people in Latvia implemented their goals and creative potential.
