Audriņu at primary school premises second camp “Eu environment, environment in me”

Audriņu in the primary school premises was the second camp supported by the Latvian Environment Fund “Eu environment, environment in me”, with 12 – 15-year-old children. Also in this camp, activities were diverse and exciting, each day devoted to a particular topic – water, air, climate, plants, soil, waste, ecosystem, healthy lifestyle and arrangements with nature.
The participants of this camp also identified natural and environmental problems, studying, looking for and finding solutions, they learned themselves and motivated the co-workers to save natural resources and to protect the environment. While weather conditions disturbed the planned activities, the camp leaders took favourable moments for the planned implementation.
The camp could take place thanks to the project competition organised by the Latvian Environment Fund in the project guidelines “responsible lifestyle”, which supported THE application for a project for a project created by the primary school of Audriņu. No. 1-08/57/2014 camp “in the Eu environment, environment in me” (12-15 years) and financed a large proportion of the camp costs. A large amount of support was received from Vladimir Tihomirova, head of the council of THE council, Elvra Belisova, a school colleague and pedagogies – Inese Mohambergs, Nadeždas Savickas and Santa Vilumas.
