European Heritage Days in Berzgale

The European Heritage Days are held annually in September, during which events take place in many places throughout Latvia. It is an opportunity to participate and enjoy the unprecedented measures devoted to Europe's rich and diverse cultural heritage.
2018 is the European Year of kultūras mantojuma. It is intended to encourage a wider range of people to discover and explore the cultural heritage of Europe and to strengthen the feeling that we belong to a common European family.
In Berzgale, the pearls of parish cultural heritage will be identified within these days, with particular emphasis on Kirkas mountain-castle and Bērzgales manure, its surroundings and history.
It should be added that THIS year, Bērzgale svin 550 anniversary has since been mentioned.
16 September at 14.00 children of children and all stakeholders are invited to a concert IN Bērzgales manor yard. The concert will insist on local self-activity collections and guests from closer and further places.
The events of European Heritage Days in Latvia and across Europe are devoted to encouraging cultural heritage to share and evaluate it as a shared resource to improve understanding of shared history and wealth so that people are better able to feel belonging to their country and that this cultural heritage is better protected, sacrificed, used, understood and promoted.
