By the time of the international family day, the Rēzekne municipality has already had a tradition of celebrating couples whose total life is measured at five decades. Since the Covid pandemic did not take place last year, both 2022 and 2021 gold wedding gifts were honoured.

“You are honored in your family, you are honored in your county.” “You're a golden example of all of us!” the Vice-President of the Rēzekne council Erik Turumnieks. “I can argue, show my character, turn my back, but how often it is hard for us to violate my“ eu ”so that a man and a loving man get up at the right moment and continue their journey together. Keep this mutual respect and love, keep an example of others because the family is our greatest value. '

With songs and dance gaves, the students of the Maltese music school and the children of the pre-school educational institution “romance” Luznava were welcomed. The Gold wedding jubler was organized by the Rēzekne District Registry. “How does love arise?” How do people find each other in this big world? Each question will have a reply. For others, it starts under the intoxicating scented hopes, while the other love comes in a rainy autumn day, "the families said to Maria Decsne, head of the General Registry department, inviting couples to remember the whitest day when they burned the fires of their family, who had been warming up for half a century.
