In Memorandum. Friedis Zenchenko (1965.16.01. – 2019) 18.02.)

In the morning of 18 February, Friedis Zenchenko, a member of the Rēzekne county council (political party “Alternative”), was left of us, a real owner of Latgale, a careful father and grandfather, a good man, a careful neighbour and a friend.
He was born on 16 January 1965, Ilzeskalna parish, and spent his entire life in Sondoros, Vērēmu parish, where he experienced the most important events of his life.
When he finished his primary school in Nautre, he spent his life and strength devoted to Rēzekne's county and his land.
He was the eldest son in his family, so all the most important things had to be sorted directly to him. This circumstance brought him a high sense of responsibility and his ability to assume responsibility. He was a man with gold hands and a clever head, there was no thing he could do. All his tractors were repaired by Friede himself, the most pleasure he had to do. With the technique he was on “you”, and this work gave him good.
He couldn't imagine his free time without hunting and woods. It was not only an opportunity to get a trophy, but it was a moment of joining with nature. He loved his land so much. Colleagues, hunters, respectfully respected the arms brother and knew that Friedi could always be trusted in both hunting and life.
Every spring and autumn, a lot of people gathered at Fred's house. One needed the help of a tractor, a good advice. Fritz had never rejected anyone, he was a helpful and kindly neighbor.
Fred's birth and surname continue to be a son and two grandsons who will continue to be proud of his, well-remembered wise counselors.
We will never see Fred Zenchenko's smile again, and we will not hear his voice, but he will remain in our memories with his good works.
The municipality of Rezekne expresses the deepest sympathy for Fred Zenchenko's family.
