Invitations to tender “Award of the Year of Youth of Rezekne” 2021

In order to highlight and honor the youth affairs specialists of Rezekne, youth workers and young people supporting young people, who have changed the daily lives of young people with their achievements in 2021, as well as to identify the most active and talented young people of Rezekne and promote youth initiative and participation in public life, the Education and Sport Board of Rezekne shall announce the application for the competition “Award of the Year of Youth of Rezekne”.

The best and most active are the possibility to apply for one of the seven nominations:

• YEAR PUPIL
• ANNUAL DEBBIE IN SPORT
• YOUNG ARTIST OF THE YEAR
• YOUTH WORKER OF THE YEAR
• YOUTH-FRIENDLY PARISH/CITY ADMINISTRATION
• YOUTH ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR
• THE MOST ACTIVE YOUTH CIVIL PARISH OF THE YEAR

The nominations of Rezekne's annual prize may be applied to any young adult of Rezekne aged 13 to 25 years or a youth organisation.

In the nomination “annual youth worker”, a county county/city youth centre managers, youth workers and youth affairs specialists who have provided support for the implementation of the initiatives of young people, while the nomination “Youth-friendly parish/city administration”, may apply for one of the parish/city councils of Rezekne municipality, which in 2021 has helped to implement the ideas of local young people or develop their talents and skills by providing the necessary support.

Applications for nominations may be submitted by any resident of Rezekne at age 13, as well as any legal person of Rezekne, including local government institutions and non-governmental organisations.

Applications for the nominations of the Rēzekne municipality shall be submitted by 21 February. Applications may be submitted only by electronic means by e-mail aivars.mezatucs@rezeknesnovads.lv.

The festival ceremony of the Rēzekne municipality will be held on 11 March, in the municipality of Rezekne, in the municipality of Rēzekne, in the alley OF Liberation 95A, at noon. 16:00. Candidates and nominations of the competition will be selected individually if the restrictions imposed in the country do not allow the event to be held.
