Created video for packing equipment operation

Rēzekne Municipality Foundation “Rural Economic Development in Rēzekne District” or “LEARN” implemented THE LEADER programme “creation of a packing workshop”. With the SUPPORT of THE EAFRD Fund, various packing facilities located AT Dricānu in secondary schools were purchased. The equipment shall be acquired in order to promote the knowledge and practical understanding of the public, especially the new and emerging domestic producers, regarding the types of packaging of goods, the materials used, their harmlessness to human health, the ecological aspect, as well as the packaging and its design role in the increase of the sales of the product produced.

IN order to show the principles of the handling of product packaging equipment and to introduce the types of packaging, LEARN, in collaboration with the Rēzekne Technology Academy Food Processing Laboratory, carried out testing of the equipment, resulting in an information video that can be viewed in the YouTube account of the municipality of Rezekne and in the annex.
