Assessed candidates for the position of the head of the parish association OF Dricānu parish parish

On 18 December, a second round of the competition was held in the municipality of Rezekne to assess the applicants on the posts of the heads of parish councils OF Dricānu parish. For the most relevant candidates for the requirements of the competition law, the Commission recognised Diana Saksoni (Dricānu and Stružānu civil parish), Valentine Pusti (Gaigalavas and Nagļu civil parish) and Tamara Tutin (Sakstagala and Kantinieku parish), with whom employment legal relationships will be closed.
The conformity of the candidates nominated in parish meetings was assessed by the Commission established by the municipality, participating as observers to the members of the Rēzekne District Council, as well AS the leader of THE Dricānu parish association Andrejs Tsarudam.
In the first round of the competition, the Commission assessed the documents submitted by 11 applicants and the results of the operational programme, as well as the results of the practical task – the test. It should be noted that, in accordance with Section 6 of the competition law, applicants for operational programmes submitted a closed envelope with a freely chosen combination of 6 (six) digits so that the data on which the applicant could be identified would not be disclosed.
In view of the results of the first round, 7 applicants with the highest number of points were invited to the second round. Following the evaluation of the operational programmes, the test results and the results of the interview on the basis of points 9, 10, and 11 of the competition law, the Commission of the municipality of Rēzekne, Dricānu, Gaigalavas, Kantinieku, Nagļu, Sakstagala and Sherjan parish administration, decided to support the candidatures of Diana Saksones, Tamara Tutin and Valentina Pustes.
After the requirements of the tender, applicants must have higher education, knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the work of the local government and the ability to orientate in them. The ability to work with large amounts of information, good analytical capacity and communication skills, a high sense of responsibility and precision is also essential. Experience in local government or public work, knowledge of the official language corresponding to the office, skills of good computer use. The applicant was required to submit an activity (development) programme of the parish councils to which the position of the manager is based, listing the existing problems and proposing solutions, as well as its vision of mutual co-operation of parish administrations in THE parish association OF Dricānu and solving common issues.
In the 2 nd round of the competition, members of the Rēzekne District Council and Dricānu, Gaigalavas, Kantinieku, Nagļu, Sakstagala, and the chairmen of the Advisory Councils of Stružānu parish councils or their delegates were eligible.
