Carnival “grab the tails!” At Rēzen's primary school
The 1 st semester of each school year concludes with a warm, peaceful and well-thought-out event that introduces all of us into Christmas mood. That is what we are grateful to teacher Irene Battiste, who, together with the participants of the dramatic circle, forms a scenario and allows us to inspire and feel the pleasure of festivals.
But one of our school's most interesting and attractive traditions is the annual carnival of the new year. For many years, the carnival takes place in early January, after winter holidays, and its subject is linked to the symbol of the new year. This year, the carnival “grabbing the tails” was the red fiery cocktail, and the main role was taken by the teacher Sylvia Pranch. Of course, it was best to work in the team, so there was also a teacher Antoņina Kozlovsky and Ilona Butkāne. But the previous year's symbol - a monkey who was played by the teacher Ināra Ancha, came a little sad because his year came out. The pupils themselves prepared the original mask to show them to others. For all the time of the carnival, some remained unrecognized, sensed in the image, temporarily enjoying, as it was, to be someone else. Many small girls were in a princess dress, a snow queen, cheerful and gently swirling through the biscuits, and the king of the candy, Jeanis, deserved special recognition.
A fun and interesting shared time, games, attractions, dances and games were memorable moments over the course of the entire carnival.
At the end of the carnival, the class collectively received the nomination “creative class”, “smiling class”, “Dear class”, “friendly class”, “optimistic class” and other nominations. The authors of the most original uniforms received beautiful medals and sweets.
