Kaunatā was held at the Health Promotion Festival
On July 23, a health promotion festival “live healthy in Rezekne municipality” took place AT Kaunatā. The event was organised with the aim of promoting healthy daily habits, actively, entertaining and educating the free time, giving people the opportunity to try something new and inspire new, healthier choices.
The measure Kaunatā gathered around 300 Kaunatas and other parish residents who took part in 5 events.
Visitors had the opportunity to participate in group exercises such as aerobics (manager Laine Lubgāne), gymnastics with children (manager Laine Lubgāne), cigar-breathing exercise (manager Andrejs Andrejevs). A vocal instrumental anchor “arrow” entered between the activities. The event also visited Latvia's recorder, the olimpiete from Latgale, Gunta Vaičule (ex. Latiseva - Chudare, and shared her experiences, “how to achieve and exceed your limits?”.
A separate area in the event was dedicated to healthy food, where visitors had the opportunity to learn the foundations of healthy diets along with the Samantha gaili, as well as participate in a healthy meal-making masterboard, all of which were expected to be tasted by tasting.
During the event, visitors had the opportunity to attend discussions and domains for young people and adults on topics of mental inspiration. Along with psychologists Dr. Luru Valsceni, both short-lived, self-tested self-tests and discussions on various topical topics were considered.
A little more from the spell was located in Zone 4, where the participants were able to pass gong meditation with Evitu sarma, dance and movement in art therapy with Simon Orinsk or visually in plastic art therapy with the laureate Danilani.
The participants also had the opportunity to participate in both the team “fun relay” from the “Eastern Latvian Creative Initiative Center” and the chess and checkers in tournaments organised by the sports association “SEDNA”, as well as in individual dysppiles: the arc shooting and the challenge “Everest”, where, from empty boxes, the participants had to build a tower while at the top of this tower.
In parallel with the activities of the event, the children's area with inflatable attractions, the facial labeling workshop, as well as the fabric-printing workshop led by Dana Vasilyeva was also located.
The best participants of the competition area were awarded and honoured, as well as in the final between all the participants of the activities, health-enhancing prizes were drawn, and the main prize – bicycle.
At the end of the evening, the fire shows from the fire school Studia Fotia and a musical greeting from the rock group “Navigator”, coming from the Augšdaugava municipality.
The Festival of Health Promotion was organised within THE framework OF THE ESF Project No. 9.2.4.2/16/I/027 “live healthy in Rezekne District!” and its activities focus on public awareness, education, development of personal skills, behavioural change and the development of healthy lifestyles, which contribute to the development of a healthy society.
