Kaunatas parish realization project “will preserve and promote Razna Lake”

Open project submission for the 2014-2020 sub-event of the Latvian Rural Development Programme: 19.2 “Implementation of the activity in accordance with the community-led local development strategy” activities: 19.2.2 The project No 19-01-AL15-a019 .2201-000004 “will preserve and promote Razna Lake” was supported in the project competition announced by the “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership” of the “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership” in LEADER. The total cost of the project is EUR 19414.09, the eligible costs OF EUR 12930.06, the public funding OF 90% or EUR 11637.05, the aid OF the municipal environmental fund project of Rezekne, EUR 6232.00 and THE co-financing of Kaunatas parish administration IN EUR 1545.04.

The aim of the project is to attract more tourists, promote the promotion of the area, promote the involvement of citizens in active rest, improve the business of the tourism industry.

As part of the project, a PVC ponton, a staircase and a hiking bridge were placed in the Asticu village at the water tower in Razna Lake. Mounted steps and waves attached to the ponton and serve lighter and safer access to the lake. The land zone belonging to the Land of Razna Lake, the improved management of the natural object and the sorted beach, the availability of an improved recreational area.

On the basis of the market research carried out and the concluded cooperation agreement, the work envisaged by the project was carried out by THE “Ecostandard technologies” LTD.
